On Tuesday 06 2010 Nokia announced that users of Nokia E71 and E66 will get free access to Nokia Ovi which gives free walk and drive navigation. Due to technical issues (or we may say some hardware or software limitations), the premium features such as Michelin and Lonely Planets will not be available on these devices. Previously, the free navigation software was only available for the newer E72, N97 mini and X6 handsets. Users need to download the latest Ovi Maps application from Nokia.com/maps to their computers before installing it to their device using Ovi Suite.The Nokia E71 and E66 will be the last S60 3.1 devices that support the latest version of Ovi Maps. All other upcoming Nokia phones with GPS will get will get free walk and drive navigation.
