LG launched their slimmest android mobile phone that is LG Optimus Black in India. LG Optimus runs on Android 2.2 operating system. Four months ago LG showed this device in Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona
LG Optimus has a four inch LCD display of 480X800 Pixels resolution with NOVA technology (touch screen), 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor, Android 2.2 (Froyo) Operating System, Optimus UI 2.0, high speed 3G connectivity, Wireless LAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Wi-Fi direct.
LG Optimus comes with two cameras – 5.0 mega pixel camera with a resolution of 2592X1944 pixels, video, geo tagging and a front camera 2.0 mega pixels. With front you can also make video calls.
It has a G button on the left side,just below the volume rocker, which enables some cool gesture controls. Holding the button and shaking the device when locked will take you straight to the camera app, and motion controlled scrolling can be done by holding the G button and moving the device up and down.
LG Optimus has several features for social networking. Apart from this you can also get digital compass and document viewing. This device has a weight of 109 grams as the panel is made of plastic. The back of the black is charcoal grey, shiny and is rectangular in shape which many says is an imitation of iPhone.
This handset comes with a price tag of Rs.19,990.
