Virgin mobile added two new value added services called Friend Circle and vGenie to its subscribers.To offer both of these services Virgin mobile India has entered into a partnership with Mobile Tribe. Mobile Tribe is a premier provider of blended social networking, messaging and rich media solutions for mobile carriers.

Friend Circle Is a mobile application which integrate different social networking websites like Facebook, Twitter, Orkut and MySpace. All of these social networking websites are accessed by one client application installed on VMI mobile device.  The users of VMI GSM are allowed to access and manage multiple social networks through a single interface on their mobile phone. They are also offered a one-stop shop approach to accessing different social networks and messaging services.Through a single log-in, it helps its users to stay connected with friends across all three social networks at one time and is easily accessed both by WAP and Java client on handsets.

vGenie is a mobile assistant  that provides birthday reminders, social networking updates, wakeup call on Voice & SMS, e-mail alerts without the need to pull the information manually from multiple sources.
